I've got it prepending the item's topic title by default because I thought that might be useful information. Let me know if you feel it is cluttered or unecessary. I could also make that feature optional via a query string flag.
Also, let me know if there's anything else you'd like added to it.

This is cool! But what I actually wanted was an RSS feed for the forums that would list new topics people created. I had assumed the front page had one already, for some reason.
By the way, I have no recollection of saying that thing about cake and gonads. |

Let me see what I can do. Handling forum permissions is the only potentially tricky part to manage.

Very good question. Your session is detected by the script and forum permissions are assigned accordingly (just as they do with the Newest Forum Threads block). Posts in the War Room (and other restricted forums) are not presented to those without appropriate permission.

How does it detect the session when it's Google Reader making the request? (Technically curious.) |
